Petting Zoo

I think one of Kylie's favorite parts of the zoo was the petting zoo.

This goat was hanging out in the shade and safety of this bench, away from all the little ones. 

Kylie was instantly drawn to him and would go over, bend down, and talk to the goat.

She really enjoyed brushing the tails of the goats.  I, on the other hand, really wished she would move to the other end of the goat!

I laugh whenever I see this picture, apparently Chad felt the need to visit with the goat also :)

I was so proud of her when we were ready to move on.  She put the brush up and walked out without pitching a fit!!!  This was huge for her to not get upset at having to move on before she was ready.

Hop Hop!!!! One of Kylie's best friends is a rabbit that she calls Hop Hop, we were all so excited when a real rabbit decided to come over by us.

This is how close the rabbit was to us!  Kylie couldn't believe she was getting to see a Hop Hop....yep, another animal we could see for free somewhere else!

This cracks me up, Kylie and Daddy were being elephants!

Zoo Visit (Part 2)

This one had the right idea, all sprawled out in the shade, sleeping soundly.

Can't remember now what these were, but they had the biggest horns I'd ever seen, (not longhorns)

 We had looked at the web cams before going and decided when we got somewhere that we knew the camera showed, we would call my parents and tell them to look for us!

The camera picked up the walkway going to feed the giraffes and they got to see Kylie on the computer!
