Petting Zoo

One of Kylie's favorite things to do is to go to a petting zoo.  She was so excited when she found out her school was going to have one and asked daily for over a week if it was time for the petting zoo yet

We decided to let Bailey sleep instead of taking pictures with us.  She was 4 weeks old in this picture.

The lamb didn't want to pose for a picture, but Kylie still enjoyed getting to pet it.

After the petting zoo, we headed to the mall to see the Easter Bunny!  Hopefully that post will be up later today!

Petting Zoo

Last year, Kylie enjoyed going to the Rodeo and seeing all the animals and we couldn't wait to take her again this year!  She is such an animal lover, she would rather play with stuffed or plastic animals over baby dolls most days.  She loves any and all animals.  We told her a few days before that she was going to get to see animals so then each day she would ask if we were going that day.  From now on, we're not telling until the day of!

Chad took a day off of work so we could avoid the weekend crowds and we made sure to not go on Spring Break.  It wasn't too crowded, though I was surprised by all the kids there on field trips.  I can't imagine having to keep up with elementary kids there and I am so thankful that we never went there on a field trip!

The weather was great for this time of year, it was warm, but windy.  The wind only bothered us while we were trying to eat lunch, otherwise it wasn't any problem.

I can't remember ever seeing a turkey in a petting zoo before???  Kylie thought it was funny and kept gobbling at it, but wouldn't try to touch it.

Petting Zoo

We recently went to a place near us called 7 Acre Wood.  With it being Fall we were wanting to take Kylie to a pumpkin patch and I had heard good things about this place.  There was so much to do there and Kylie had the best time!  I'll have to break it up into more than one post because as usual I took a bunch of pictures.  We will for sure be going back!

Kylie loved the petting zoo and we kept going back to it over and over, at one point I had to carry her out crying because it was time for the hayride.  Though once we got on the hayride she stopped crying because that was pretty neat, too!
