3 Months Old

Bailey is 3 months old.  No check-up so I don't know her measurements, but I know she's growing.  She's outgrown so many of her footed pj's, 6 months are too short and the feet are too small.  Weight wise she can wear some 3 months still, but mainly 6 months.  For length she needs 9 months or larger. Bailey is tolerating tummy time more.

She likes to be on the floor and looking at all her toys.  She can grab and hold onto ones that are hanging down.  This past month she laughed out loud.  She smiles all the time. Bailey loves Kylie so much, she just lights up when she sees or hear her.  Bailey is still a good sleeper.  She's easy going most of the time.  Bailey always has her hands in her mouth, she's constantly chewing and drooling.  I'm wondering if she's teething already. No sign of any breaking through.

Next dr appt will be in a month.

Outside fun!

Blowing bubbles
Hanging out in the shade while big sister plays.
Sidewalk chalk
Bike riding~she might look cute on it, but the whole pedaling thing is a lot harder than it looks apparently!
Her latest obsession-all like animals have to be in the same spot.  This is where the dog family currently lives.

Dr. Kylie

Kylie has loved pretending to be a dr for a long time now.  For her birthday, we bought her dress up scrubs and dr. coat.  She loves to dress up and give her animals and babies a check-up.  I don't think many drs specialize in both people and animals!
Dr. Kylie

One of the worst parts of a shot is getting a bandaid.  I think I might have the only preschooler that doesn't like band aids!  She is so scared of taking them off that often just the mention of one can send her into hysterics.  She does have on one right now, but is worried about when it comes off.

Party Day!!

She insisted on Glamour (purple stuffed cheetah) being in the picture with her.  Glamour hasn't left her side since the day she got her.
Mommy insisted on a picture without Glamour
Mommy and her girls!  You can see that Kylie's eyelid is red and swollen.  For over a year now, whenever she gets an upper respiratory infection, once the fever breaks and she starts feeling better, her one eye gets red and swollen.  The first few times I was worried, but now I am happy when I see it happen because I know that the worst is over and she's getting better.
Ready for the party to start!
Little One is excited about the birthday party :)
I  love this picture!  After lunch, Chad took her into a bedroom and we hurriedly got cake and ice cream ready.  I then asked everyone to hide in the kitchen so we could surprise Kylie.  I went to where she was and told her to come out because everyone had left.  She walked out behind me, moving very fast.  The look on her face says it all, she was surprised!  She told us later that she really thought everyone had left.  I'm so glad we were able to actually surprise her.
She was starting to get tired.  She didn't enjoy opening the presents as much as she normally would have, but she enjoyed going through them all the next day when she was well rested.
She looked at and "read" her cards.
A bicycle!  We haven't even had a chance to ride it outside yet, it's rained almost every day since getting it.
