I was in the kitchen putting away groceries, which Kylie always insists on helping me with, but for some reason she didn't join me in the kitchen. I should have known to check on what she was doing, but instead I enjoyed being able to get everything put away quickly, without a toddler helping. Plus, she was in the next room that is open to the kitchen, it's just that the couch was blocking most of her. I then went to see what she was up to and this is what I found.

Pictures didn't capture just how much of a mess she made with the baby powder. It was all over the couch, the floor, the table, books, her clothes, and her shoes. |
|
She doesn't like to get her hands dirty if we're inside (outside is a different story) and she just realized that the powder was on her hands. |
|
Starting to panic and wanting her hands washed. |

I told her I was going to clean up the mess she made first, before washing her hands and she became very upset with me. She wasn't even in trouble over the powder, I told her she shouldn't have done it and to not do it again, but I knew that if someone hadn't left it open (not me) then it wouldn't have happened to begin with! Her only "punishment" is that I didn't wash her hands immediately oh and I took a picture of her crying ;) On the bright side, my house smelled really good that day! |

That is so funny! I love how you handled it, too. Too cute.
LOL - now that is funny! We are learning the same lesson too - if the toddler is missing and no noise is happening- something is going down! Something no good! hahaaha! It must be a toddler thing, Julianna hates being dirty- hates when our car is dirty, hates when the floor is dirty - Ugh!! I am laughing at kylie's expression! :)
