We used to have that same shelf! I LOVED it, but we moved and didn't have room for it. But somehow still have to find a home for all the stuff that once lived there! NEVER get rid of a piece like that! :o)
We used fabric bins that we bought at HEB, but I've seen them every where. They're nearly the exact same size as the cubby holes. I think they were $5 each, which is much cheaper than what Ikea suggests you use. Don't buy a bin for each cubby at first. We found that only about 1/2 of our cubbies needed bins. Maybe a little more than 1/2.
