Then we were off to Virginia.  During all the road trips, Kylie did a great job.  We made sure and stopped often for bathroom breaks and to stretch our legs.  She hasn't been too big of a fan of public restrooms, but after this trip, I would say she is now a pro!

Maryland

After spending a few days in Philadelphia, we were off to Maryland to visit with more family!  The weather sure wasn't what we were used to on Memorial Day Weekend!

It was soooo windy!

New York City!

One place that I have always wanted to go is New York City and we were able to fit it in while on vacation in the Philadelphia area.  We were just there for the day, but it gave us a good taste of what the city is like and we are looking forward to going back and spending more time in the future!  Unfortunately it was cold and rainy while we were there.  We started off by going to the 9/11 Memorial.  I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was a weird feeling being there and a little scary considering all the security we had to go through to even get to it.

Garden of Reflection 9/11 Memorial

Yes, I'm still posting about our vacation :)

We were able to visit a 9/11 Memorial near Philadelphia.  

Sesame Place~Part 4

As soon as she saw this ride, she wanted to ride it and kept asking every single time we were by it.  I kept telling her that she wasn't big enough, I thought it would be scary for her.  Finally, Chad said he would ride it with her if she really wanted to ride it.  They rode it and of course she loved it!

I've never seen someone squeeze ice cream out of the bottom of the cone and eat it that way...

This was one of those that looked really fun, but then when she got out on it, she realized it wasn't as fun as she thought it would be.

I felt bad for Elmo, no one was going over there to take pictures with him (it was raining) and he looked lonely, so I decided I would go visit him.  Kylie then decided if I was going then she would go to :)  That time she talked to him, told him she loved him and blew kisses, so at least we ended on a good note with Elmo.

Sesame Place~Part 3

Before the trip, I was excited to see Elmo's World Live with her, I just knew she was going to love it since she could sit and watch Elmo all day long.  Well, that was before she decided she didn't want to see Elmo anymore, I had to convince her to go see this show and assured her that she wouldn't have to talk to Elmo.

She did like posing with Dorothy after Elmo left.

I think playing the piano was one of her favorite things from the day.

She begged and begged to play on the "blue tent", but once she got  there, she didn't really seem to know what to do.

She watched some other kids and finally figured out to hold onto the rope to help her climb.  This was about as high as she made it, but at least she had fun doing it.
