Kylie has been going thru a phase where she doesn't always want to eat, so I bought several cookie cutters and have been attempting to make her food more fun.  Sometimes it works, sometimes not.  I don't mind doing extra things to make her want to eat, but it's frustrating to go thru all that trouble and then she doesn't even touch it.

She does a great job and doesn't spill too much.  The only problem is she keeps sticking her tongue out to drink!  We've been working on it though and she has stopped doing it for the most part.  I only give her a big girl cup while we're sitting at the table, cups with lids are used at all other times, I don't need more messes to clean up!

She always has to have a napkin while eating, once she's done she wipes her hand, face, and tongue :)

She LOVES helping around the house, she unloads her silverware and puts it in the drawer.  She will also unload plastic containers and put them in the cabinet where they belong.  It takes so much longer to do things, but I love that she wants to help.

Finger Paint!

Several months ago, maybe a year??, I tried finger painting with Kylie and she HATED it, wanted no part of it at all.  A few weeks ago, I decided we would try it again.  She let me make her hand prints and that is about all.  I'm hoping she will learn to enjoy it, or at least tolerate it, I have several cute ideas for the holidays coming up, but they involve hand and foot prints.

I have recently seen several blog posts about how important it is to watermark your images, that way it makes it harder for someone to "steal" the picture and use it without your permission.  I am not trying to flatter myself, I know that most likely no one would ever take my pictures, but I want to do what I can to keep them safe.  Obviously I don't want people using pictures of Kylie as their own so I have been trying to figure out what to do and the easiest/quickest way to go about doing this.  I've wondered even about just stopping updating the blog, not even sure I have enough readers for the added work I'll have to do.  For now, I have disabled the right click feature on my blog so someone can't save pictures that way.  I am also playing around with watermarking images, hopefully I will figure out it all out soon!

Doing some reading before nap~I used to think all the padding on the floor around her bed was overkill, then a little over a week ago she had a very bad fall out of her bed and we have now realized you can never have too many soft layers for her to fall on and I will do everything I can to keep her from getting hurt again.  It was for sure the scariest night we have had.  This picture was taken before the fall, we have added a lot more since then.
