At Kylie's 15 month appointment she got the chicken pox shot....I was told that it could cause a rash up to 4 weeks after getting it, fever, etc. For a couple days after the shot she had red spots where she got it, but they were tiny. Then about a week later, there was a really big red spot and it seemed to just keep getting bigger and bigger. She also ran a low fever for a few days, didn't sleep well at all, and was just an overall grouchy baby :(

I blame all of that on the dumb shot. I was so afraid that she would end up getting chicken pox from the shot. It's now been 2 weeks since the initial shot and things seem to be better, you can still see where she got it, but she hasn't been running fever.
As for sleeping.......well, we have had some horrible nights and some good nights lately so I'm not sure what's going on with that.
She is cutting a molar and I know that could be part of the problem with her sleeping. Some nights she wakes up screaming and nothing I do can calm her down, it can last 30 minutes to an hour, then as suddenly as it started, she stops crying, drinks something, and then goes back to sleep. Sometimes she will then sleep the rest of the night without any problems, other times we will have a repeat of it all a few hours later. It's been really tough on us around here. I can't wait until this molar breaks all the way thru and hopefully we will have a little relief before the next one comes in. I've had to start taking naps with her in the afternoon because I am so exhausted from the lack of sleep at night.
