Kylie right now...

She loves the "shine".  When it's cloudy she will say, "Oh no, Mommy, blue sky all gone, no shine"  Later when the blue sky is back she gets so excited to see it!
~She calls Peter Rabbit, "Peter Hop Hop"
~If you call her anything (for example baby girl) other than Kylie, she will say "No, Kylie Hope Hope Morris".  It's so cute :)
~Kylie LOVE LOVES LOVES animals, she knows the sounds that they make and if they don't make sounds then she makes up some sound for them to make.  She especially likes these really small animals, that are very easy to lose and of course she always loses her favorite.
~She is really enjoying dance class and does a good job most of the time.
~She is out of her shy stage (I think dance class really helped with that)
~I didn't want to jinx it, so I've been holding off on posting it, but she is potty trained, at least at home.  Out in public, I still don't quite trust her and put on a pull-up just to be safe, but she always tells us when she needs to go.  I really didn't expect the potty training to go as easy as it did, months ago when we tried, it was a disaster, but this time she picked it up right away.
The shine was out, so she had to wear her sunglasses.  She's also insisting on picking out her outfits on some days, Mommy is learning to deal with mismatched clothes!
We had some sick days this past month
She loves chicken "sloup" and asks for it all the time, especially when she is sick.
~Kylie is really testing the boundaries lately, she is usually well behaved, but at times likes to see just how much she can get away with.
~She hasn't slept real well since her ear infection.  She's wanting one of us to lay down with her every night and then if she wakes up during the night, she's wanting someone to lay down with her.  It's been a long time since we've had to deal with bedtime problems and it's wearing us out.  I'm hoping it's a stage that passes quickly.

February 2011

I was planning on doing a few pictures from different years, but then I started looking at February 2011 pictures and realized that it was such a busy month, it deserved it's own post!
Ice storm
February 2011 was full of firsts~first plane ride, first time in a hotel, first (and only) snow, first time meeting a lot of extended family...
This has always been one of my favorite pictures!
Dressed pretty and ready to party
These pictures have made me sad, we had no idea that we would lose her to lung cancer just a few months after this trip. Such a blessing this trip ended up being.
Love this one!  We were celebrating his 90th birthday and that's him and his wife out dancing the night away!
Went to The Grand Canyon and it had snowed!!!
